The club is situated in the centre of Gillingham adjacent to Gillingham School a stones throw away from the High Street and next to the Lidl superstore. The green opens at 10.00 am every day throughout the playing season (Late April though September) and visitors are most welcome. New players and beginners will be made very welcome and we will happily lend you some bowls whilst you make your mind up whether the sport is for you.We have a fully qualified coach to help you through the elements of the game and I promise you it can be a lot of fun. We have a number of ladies and mens teams entered in the Dorset Leagues and a whole raft of friendlies both home and away throughout the playing season. During the winter we hold social events each month which range from Fish and Chip suppers to Cheese and Wine quiz nights as well as some novelty events.
